Munich River Wave

Such a sick couple of days shooting Munich's standing river wave. Such a cool vibe around the wave, with surfers turning up about every 20 minutes to surf this ever-breaking wave, and so many of them absolutely killed it as well, popping airs and big sweeping hacks and making it all look super easy. Here's the set up:
The wave stands in front of a bridge on an otherwise very regular urban road, close to the city centre. The river flows super fast out from under the city, on the left and down a submerged concrete ramp and then over a some concrete humps at the bottom of the river.
Paul, Backhand air.
Alex Neumann taking a backhand slice out of the wave
Spectators of all ages rock up to watch the wave.
Quirin Rohlender in (without a hood) for a couple.
Paul backand re-entry
Front side hack
Paul Gunter, sponsored by Nike6 and one of Munichs best river and ocean surfers, busting a back hand air reverse off the end section.
Max Schwarzkop cavemanning on from the bank
Paul again, frontside air.

Frontside cut back
Paul, Frontside fins free
