"During the late 90's and early 2000's Plymouth was the centre of the South West rave scene, playing host to internationally renowned DJ's and attracting thousands of revellers to its two main venues, Warehouse and Dance Academy, both converted victorian theatres. When the clubs were shut down in 1998 and 2006 respectively the scene in the area plateaued. So what became of the ravers who frequented the dance-floor's of these venues on a weekly basis, gurning and stomping into the early hours? During the course of this project I aimed to track down these people and see what sort of lives they were leading, and how being a part of arguably Britain's biggest subculture of the last few decades has effected them."
